A. Aced My Interview is a groundbreaking interview and resume service powered by FaceTime, Skype, and Google Hangouts. We provide live, face-to-face mock interviews with an Interview Specialist to assess and critique your strengths and weaknesses. Q. What is an Interview Specialist?
A. An Interview Specialist is a mock interviewer on our team with no less than 10 years of recruiting experience. These experts have the critical tools and advice to help you Ace your next job interview. Helping you get a leg-up is the Interview Specialist’s expertise.
Q. How do I start?
A. You can begin by creating an account. Start by selecting “Get Started Today” on our Home page. From there, you’ll have access to the services Aced My Interview offers. We recommend uploading your existing resume as soon as possible!
Q. How can you help me land my dream job?
A. Aced My Interview provides a number of services. From One-on-One coaching to a professional mock interview, we’re here to make sure you feel confident and prepared for your interview.
Q. Can you help me with my resume?
A. Yes. After you’ve created an account, you’ll be given the option to upload your resume. We do not alter your resume, but we provide the feedback you’ll need to make sure your resume is not only acceptable, but exceptional. We provide the template and necessary edits to help your resume stand out among the rest.
Q. How will I receive feedback on my resume?
A. You will receive feedback on your resume in your email inbox when a Specialist is finished reviewing it. Through Google Docs, Word, and various other programs, we provide the necessary feedback with your convenience in mind.
Q. Colleges sometimes offer “interview coaching.” What makes AMI different?
A. Whatever the college, interview coaching options are typically limited by time and sheer number of people interested. Aced My Interview is designed to put users first by giving them flexible first-hand access to Interview Specialists available at all times to assist you. They are here to focus on your personal needs with a personal touch.
Q. How long do I have to wait until my session?
A. You select the time, and we will be there. Whether you schedule your session for 6:00 AM or 10:00 PM, there are interviewers available and ready to guide you on your job search.
Q. What if I have to reschedule my session?
A. Life happens. If you need to reschedule, simply reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q. I’ve done well with interviewing already. Why do I need to prepare for my next interview?
A. Interviewing is an art. Like all arts, you need practice. Even if you’re an expert interviewer, AMI can give you the coaching you need to better hone your craft. It always helps to know what your strengths and weaknesses are so that you are constantly improving and increasing your chances of landing the job.
Q. How do I change or reset my password?
A. After clicking login, you will see link titled “Lost Your Password?” Click this link and follow the instructions for changing or resetting your password.
Q. What are Aced Badges and Achievements?
A. Aced Badges are earned by completing sessions successfully. Achievements are landmarks in your performance evaluation.
Q. How will I be assessed during my mock interview?
A. After your session with a Specialist, you’ll receive an AcedCard™, via email. The AcedCard™ will be a an overview of your performance. You will be critiqued on a number of criteria and will get feedback on your strengths and weaknesses, including an overview of your performance in the mock interview.
Q. How much is a session with an Interview Specialist?
A. Prices change depending on which service you choose.
Q. I have a technical problem or support issue. Who do I email?
A. If you need help learning our services or have a technical issue, you can email us at info@AcedMyInterview.com.
Q. My resume won’t upload. Which format should I convert my resume to?
A. Before you upload your resume, make sure it is in PDF, .DOC or .DOCX format. If it’s not, you can convert it using various template programs.
Q. How do I position my webcam?
A. Before your session with an expert, make sure your webcam is connected and ON. Give yourself a minute to angle your camera as desired. Make sure there is good lighting and a wi-fi connection before you start. Try to conduct your interview somewhere quiet and free of distraction. Q. I’d like to switch my account to another email. Is this possible?
A. Email changes must be taken care of by a site administrator. Send a request through the Contact form.
Q. Do I need anything special to start using this service?
A. You don’t need anything but a valid email and a smartphone or PC to sign up with Aced My Interview.
Q. Is there an on-premise option?
A. No, all of our services are done virtually to allow user the most convenient service possible.
Q. Will I be notified when I upload my resume?
A. You will receive an email once your resume has uploaded.
Q. How long after the interview will it take to hear back about my performance?
A. For most services, you will receive feedback within 15 minutes.
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We accept all major credit cards.
Q. What is your cancellation and refund policy?
A. We do not offer a refund, but will allow you to change your session time and date as long as you give 24 hours notice.
Q. Can I buy someone else a session as a gift?
A. Buying someone a session is easy! All you need is the person’s email address and a valid payment method.
Q. What if I don’t have any teleconferencing software?
A. Friends and family, or the public library is a great place to gain access to a device.
